This was the first rock song that was played in my song by my parents for the sake of just listening to music. One of their colleagues recommended it, and I was really surprised when they started playing it from the stereo. I’ve never heard The Doors before since I was about 10, but more of a surprise was that it wasn’t just classical coming out from the speakers.
